Xtra Time Web Desk: The entire cricket fraternity on Monday wished India’s most dependable batsman Cheteshwar Pujara who turned 33 years old. Pujara has been the backbone of Indian batting in the longer format for past few years and with each passing day he is giving enough evidence of his dependability.  Leading the wishes was the Indian captain Virat Kohli who tweeted, “Happy birthday pujji @cheteshwar1. Wish you good health, happiness and more hours at the crease. Have a great year ahead,”

Team India’s ace spinner Ravichandran Ashwin posted a unique birthday wish to Pujara. Ashwin posted a video of his daughter wishing Pujara uncle on his birthday. The off spinner greeted Pujara as ‘Rock of Gibraltar’.

“Many more happy returns of the day Rock of Gibraltar @cheteshwar1, can’t thank you enough for being my bunny though,” Ashwin tweeted.

India wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik labeled Pujara as the ‘Rock of Rajkot’ and posted a picture of a rock in place of Pujara surrounded by close in fielders against the bowling of Nathan Lyon from the recently concluded test series.

Karthik tweeted, “Happy Birthday to the Rock of Rajkot.”

KL Rahul took to Twitter and wrote, “Wishing Mr Dependable @cheteshwar1 a very happy birthday. Your hardwork and dedication has been great to witness. To many more fantastic innings. Cheers.”

Wriddhiman Saha also wished Pujara with a video which is a collage of all the memories the two batsmen enjoyed together.
