Internet Desk: Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan will play a pre season friendly against ISL side FC Pune City at the Balawadi Complex. The previous week arch rivals East Bengal played against the same opponent and lost 2-1. Upon which Bagan gaffer Sanjoy Sen said, “I am not bothered about others. We are not 100% fit so we have come to play a practice game on their invitation. Win or loss is irrelevant. Mohun Bagan and East Bengal are strong opponents and everyone wants to play against them”
The Bagan team practiced for an hour and a half at Pune’s Mamndi ground and the coach wants to check out all of his players by featuring them. Sanjoy Sen wants to field two teams against Pune, one team for 45mins in each half. On being questioned as to whether Sony Norde would start from the beginning Sen replied, “The team is not yet prepared. We will decide that before the match. We have traveled with 28 players”
The Mohun Bgaan team is happy with the reception at Pune as Sanjoy Sen said, “The specialities which the Pune team gets we are also receiving the same from the organisers”
