Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals looks a very balanced side on paper this season. Led by new captain Rishabh Pant, DC started the IPL 2021 season with a bang comprehensively beating Chennai Super Kings in their first match. The entire unit looks a cohesive unit both on and off the field. The players are sharing a good bonding and camaraderie between each other.
During a recent shoot for the sponsors DC cricketers Rishabh Pant, Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Steve Smith, Shikhar Dhawan, Ravichandran Ashwin and Chris Woakes were asked to do dance steps. The DC players were seen dancing to the tune of the song Vaathi from the Tamil movie ‘Master’ which has been topping the charts.
The better dancers in the DC team like Shikhar Dhawan, Rishabh Pant and Ravichandran Ashwin were given a tough challenge by England fast bowler Chris Woakes.
In a video uploaded on his twitter handle, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant wrote tagging his DC teammates. “Being a cricketer in the IPL can be a tough job, so we ensure we practice for Dance India Dance auditions as well Man dancing. Who do you guys think is DC’s best dancer,” wrote Pant.
Taking note of his teammates’ move, veteran pacer Stuart Broad responded on Pant’s tweet suggesting that the best dancer in England cricket team is Chris Woakes. “Who is the best dancer in the England Cricket Team? Chris Woakes,” wrote Broad with a dancing emoji.
