This Indian cricketer fined for violating lockdown rule

XtraTime Web Desk: While India cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is whole-heartedly supporting the nationwide lockdown to fight coronavirus pandemic, another India cricketer with the same surname got fined for obeying the rules of lockdown. India and Himachal Pradesh all rounder Rishi Dhawan was recently fined for violating lock-down rules. Dhawan was charged INR 500 for not having the vehicle pass for going to bank during the relaxation period between 10am to 1pm. Rishi was driving his private car when he was stopped by the Himachal Pradesh police. On being asked to produce the vehicle pass, the cricketer failed to do so and was forced to pay a spot fine.

Rishi Dhawan was recently fined for violating lock-down rules.

Rishi Dhawan has represented India in three ODI’s and one T20I. He scored only 12 runs and picked a single wicket. He has also plied his trade in the Indian Premier League. He represented Kings XI Punjab and Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

His record in domestic cricket is not that bad though. In 79 first-class matches Rishi has scoring 3,702 runs at an average of 41.13 and has also picked 308 wickets at an average of 26.87.
