Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade will be seen playing the role of Tambe in movie. The makers have released the first poster of the film on March 7. The biopic will chronicle the life of leg-spinner Pravin Tambe, who shot to limelight when he made his IPL debut for RR aged 41.
The film is produced by Bootroom Sports and Fox Star Studios and is directed by Jayprad. Pravin Tambe made his IPL debut for RR in 2013 at the age of 41. He played three matches in IPL 2013 and picked up one wicket. Tambe had a breakthrough year in 2014 as he picked up 15 wickets at an average of 23.73. He also played for Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans. Overall, he has played 33 IPL games and picked up 28 wickets.
