Kolkata: The I-League committee meeting might become the most crucial meeting of the recent times in Indian football and will be held at New Delhi in the first week of July, www.xtratime.in has been confirmed by the AIFF sources. The AIFF Secretary Kushal Das, who was there in Kolkata on yesterday to have an “unofficial” meeting with the Kolkata giants and IFA, has gone back to New Delhi today. The AIFF Secretary told www.xtratime.in , “The league committee meeting will be held in the first week of the next month. Lets see how it goes. I was in an unofficial meeting meeting with the Kolkata clubs. I promised them to send a reply in two weeks. But as I mentioned, it was an informal meeting.” On the other hand, East Bengal official Dr Shanti Ranjan Dasgupta said, “I concernedly told Sunanda Dhar in the last meeting that we won’t play on Monday and Tuesday if the ISL games are being played on the weekends.”
