Following the team's thrilling win, Kohli, renowned for his dedication and resilience, chose to join his family in the UK, marking the end of a remarkable journey.

The Indian Cricket Team's return from Barbados was delayed due to Hurricane Beryl, but they finally landed in Delhi to a hero's welcome. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hosted a special breakfast for the team, engaging in light-hearted conversations with the players. The celebrations continued in Mumbai with a grand roadshow where the team proudly displayed their trophy to a sea of enthusiastic fans.

Despite the exhausting day, Kohli boarded a flight to London to reunite with his Bollywood actor wife Anushka Sharma and their children, Vamika and Akaay. Anushka was seen supporting Kohli during the India vs. Pakistan game in New York but did not attend other matches in the tournament.

South Africa, needing just 30 runs from the last five overs, seemed poised for victory. However, India's seamers turned the tide with their exceptional bowling, securing a dramatic seven-run win and clinching their second T20 World Cup Trophy.
