Xtra Time Web Desk: Smriti Mandhana, the prolific opener for the India women's cricket team, delivered a stunning performance by smashing 136 runs off 120 balls in the second ODI against South Africa at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. This spectacular knock has positioned India to seal the series against Laura Wolvaardt's side, following a commanding 143-run victory in the opening match on Sunday.

With this century, Mandhana has become the first-ever Indian woman cricketer to score consecutive tons in the format, a feat previously achieved by Sandhya Agarwal in the 1986 Test series against England. Additionally, Mandhana's century has tied her with former India captain Mithali Raj for the most centuries scored by an Indian woman in the 50-over game, both holding seven centuries and standing 10th on the all-time list.
