XtraTime Web Desk: The Indian fast bowlers once again lived up to its expectation. The trio of Mohammed Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ishant Sharma on Thursday shared 7 wickets among them on Day 1 of the first test at Indore to bundle out Bangladesh for 150 in 58.3 overs. Mohammed Shami once again produced a lethal spell of swing bowling. The highlight of Day 1 was the ball with which Shami bowled Mushfiqur Rahim. More than the wicket delivery, the way he set up Mushfiq spoke immensely about the maturity of Shami as a bowler. The Bengal speedster bowled three deliveries outside the off stump before going wide and bringing one back in sharply to knock over the off stumps. Mushfiqur had no clue whatsoever as he was leaving the ball assuming it was also another out-swinger. Shami finished with three wickets, while Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav picked two each.

Talking about his plan while bowling against Mushfiqur, Shami said, “I have been going wide of the crease too in the last two years. I plan according to the batsman. You always enjoy when you do well for your team and country.”

He added, “I want to bowl according to the conditions and the situation. I want to stick to my plans.”

The next delivery by Shami swung even more as Mehidy Hasan Miraj was adjudged lbw for a duck, leaving Shami with a hat-trick opportunity after tea.

“I was thinking about the hat-trick during the tea break,” said Shami after the first day’s play.
However that was not to happen, but India quickly managed to wrap things up and bundle out Bangladesh for 150.
