Internet Desk: Sunrisers Hyderabad faced a setback when their experienced bowler Ashish Nehra was ruled out for rest of the IPL tournament. Sunrisers head coach Tom Moody confirmed that the veteran bowler would be missing the upcoming matches after suffering from a hamstring injury.

“Ashish Nehra won’t be fit for the remainder of the tournament,” he told media in an interaction on the eve of the IPL eliminator clash between Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Chinnaswamy stadium here.

Nehra had to leave the game against Rising Pune Supergiant after suffering a hamstring strain on 6th of May.

A lot will depend on Mohammad Siraj who was instrumental in picking four wickets in their last game which was a must-win game to qualify for the play-offs against Gujarat.

Moody also said that Yuvraj Singh would be undergoing a fitness test a day before their Eliminator match in Bangalore.

“Yuvraj will be undergoing a fitness test this evening. We will be giving him obviously the opportunity to prove his fitness,” he said.

The Punjabi left-handed batsman suffered an injury in his fiongers which resulted in him missing out the previous game.
