Rohit & co to assemble in Hyderabad on January 20 ahead of first test | INDvsENG

Xtra Time Web Desk: The Indian cricket team will be assembling in Hyderabad on January 20 ahead of the first test match against England. The five match test series against England will begin in Hyderabad from January 25. The Indian cricketers are instructed to assemble in Hyderabad on January 20, where they will undergo a four-day practice session ahead of the test series.

Star India batter Virat Kohli, will travel to Ayodhya for a day on January 22 to attend the Ram Mandir Pran Pratisthan Ceremony in Ayodhya. Kohli has already obtained permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to attend the event. Meanwhile, all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has chosen to focus on his preparations for the Test series and has cancelled all commercial engagements and ad shoots to be at the National Cricket Academy (NCA).

The Indian players and coaching staff, currently engaged in a Twenty20 series against Afghanistan, will take a two-day break after the third and final T20I on Wednesday. They will disperse for home before regrouping in Hyderabad on January 20 for the Test series.

On the other side, the England team is scheduled to arrive in Hyderabad on January 21. Ben Stokes and co are currently undergoing a preparatory camp in Abu Dhabi. The upcoming Test series promises an exciting clash between the two cricketing powerhouses.
