Xtra Time Web Desk: Spanish giants Real Madrid has made their first move towards signing Paris Saint Germain striker Kylian Mbappe. Real had been waiting to make the offer to Mbappe until Tuesday. The Los Blancos has finally put an offer on the table to sign the PSG star this summer before the transfer window closes.

According to MARCA, Real Madrid President Florentino Perez has tabled a bid of 160 million euros to Mbappe. Real Madrid are hopeful that their dream of signing the World Cup winning footballer will become a reality this summer, even with the transfer window only remaining open until midnight on Tuesday, August 31.

The move was influenced by the fact that Mbappe has refused to sign a new contract at PSG, with his current deal set to expire next summer, and the Emir of Qatar has also got involved in proceedings.

Nobody at Real Madrid has made any public comments about Mbappe since May, and the club will continue to follow that approach until the window has closed. They want to be respectful, and they have made their interest concrete by presenting PSG with their first offer.
