Ranji Trophy 2021-22 : Kushagra’s 266 & Nadeem’s 177 helps Jharkhand reach a record 880 against Nagaland

Xtra Time Web Desk : Jharkhand Cricket Team on Monday smashed a total of 880 against Nagaland, the fourth highest team total in an innings in the Ranji Trophy, courtesy of 17 year old Kumar Kushagra’s 266 and a humongous 177 by Shahbaz Nadeem.

The Jharkhand side, led by their experienced skipper Saurabh Tiwary walked in to bat first against a not so strong Nagaland bowling line up and smashed big scores one after another. Coming in to bat at number 5, youngster Virat Singh started the onslaught with a brilliant 107 followed by Kushagra’s record 266 and Nadeem’s 177.

Also, the number 11 batter Rahul Shukla too scored a huge 85 to take his team to a total of 880 in the first innings.
