Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian batsmen duo Prithvi Shaw and Suryakumar Yadav have completed their quarantine period and have joined the team at Lord’s. The news was confirmed by BCCI on its official twitter handle.  Both Shaw and Suryakumar were drafted into the test squad following injuries to Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar. The duo was in Sri Lanka for India’s white ball series.

The duo will now be available for selection for the third test at Leeds starting from August 25. It will be a huge sigh of relief for the team management as the middle order is woefully out of form. With an out of form Cheteshwar Pujara, there is a good chance for either of them to replace him for the third test.

Prithvi is making a comeback in the test squad after getting dropped from the side after the Pink Ball test against Australia at Adelaide Oval. Suryakumar Yadav has been drafted into the test squad for the first time

There is a gap of nine days between the second and third test. The 3rd test will be played at the Headingley ground at Leeds from August 25.
