Premier League: Liverpool footballer’s party whole night, club to release 8 footballers

XtraTime Web Desk: Social distancing was gone for a toss as thousands of Liverpool supporters celebrated the club’s first Premier League win in 30 years. The fans kept celebrating the whole night on the streets of Anfield and in front of the stadium.


Soaking in the celebrations was the Liverpool footballers as well. Players including Virgil van Dijk and Alisson, was seen jumping and celebrating Willian’s goal. Andrew Robertson and Joel Matip can also be seen in the first brief clip shared on the social media. The Liverpool footballers seem to have assembled at someone’s back garden to watch the match between Chelsea and Man City.


A second video, which included Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, showed the players into cheers can be heard chanting: “Campiones! Campiones! Ole, Ole Ole!”


Meanwhile, the club in a statement said that they will be releasing 8 players as their contracts with the club are over. Among the eight footballers’ is full back Nathaniel Clyne.


The England international has spent five seasons at Anfield after signing from Southampton in 2015, making over 100 appearances for the club. Among the other footballers to leave the club at Anfield are
Dan Atherton, Isaac Christie-Davies, Shamal George, Kai McKenzie-Lyle, Jack Walls, Alex Turner and Abel Rodrigues.
