Internet Desk: The 2016 edition of ICC World T20 will see some excellent talents showcasing their skills in this format. Xtra Time have shortlisted a list of notable players to watch out for :

Jasprit-Bumrah
Jasprit Bumrah – India

Jasprit Bumrah (India): With an awkward action this young boy from Gujarat came into the limelight when he had some successful stints with the Mumbai Indians. This made him earn a place in the Indian team against Australia where he played the fifth ODI in Sydney just landing few hours before and impressed with a bowling figure of 2/40 from 10 overs. He scalped the price wickets of Steve Smith and James Faulkner. Since then he has been a regular member of the Indian and continued his impressive performance. His awkward action is his strength which a lot of batsmen are failing to get through. He is surely a man to watch out for in the World T20.

Hardik-Pandya
Hardik Pandya – India

Hardik Pandya (India): The lanky all rounder from Baroda made a mark in the last IPL for Mumbai Indians too which made him earned a place in the Indian side for the tour of Australia. A terrific fielder who is more than handy with the bat and a wicket to wicket bowler is always hungry for runs and wickets. Hardik Pandya, the latest poster boy of India cricket, is enjoying all the attention and adulation. The Baroda lad, who has impressed one and all with his all-round skills in the recent tournaments maintained that he will not be under any pressure going into the World T20, 2016.

James_Faulkner
James Faulkner – Australia

James Faulkner (Australia): An all-rounder from Australia, left-arm medium pacer and right-hand batsman, Faulkner has shown consistency in picking up key wickets and also chips in with a few handy runs while batting in the lower-middle order. He has earned the nickname of “The Finisher” due to his ability to close out the innings to set a big total or to seal victories as a batsman, and bowling late in the innings as a bowler. He has also got experience in playing in the IPL for various franchisees but his most successful stint was with the Rajasthan Royals. He has received two Man of the Matches in IPL 2014 vs. RCB and in IPL 2015 vs. KXIP respectively. His back of the hand slower deliveries are the dangerous ones for the batsmen.

David-Miller-01
David Miller – South Africa

David Miller (South Africa): An aggressive left-hand middle order batsman who is considered as a T20 specialist for the Proteas. He is definitely a man to watch out for. He has got a huge amount of experience in the T20Is as he is accustomed to Indian conditions by playing in the IPL. Miller has been in good form in the recently concluded Australia series as well.

Md-Amir
Mohammad Amir – Pakistan

Mohammed Aamer (Pakistan): The left handed swing bowler is considered as new sensation of Pakistan bowling attack. After coming back from suspension, he has polished himself and brought in a lot of variations. In the recently concluded Asia Cup match against India he tormented the top order with his genuine pace and swing. In the World T20 match against India it is expected Amir might continue his devastating form.

Carlos-Braithwaite
Carlos Braithwaite – West Indies

Carlos Braithwaite (West Indies):  The tall lanky all-rounder from Barbados made his debut in all forms of cricket. He made his ODI and T20I debuts on the Bangladesh tour but had to wait more than three years for his next chance in the West Indies side. He made a comeback to the limited-over’s formats on the tour of South Africa in January 2015, before making his Test debut on the tour of Australia in December 2015. He impressed in his first two Tests. At the Boxing Day game in Melbourne, he helped Darren Bravo stem a first-innings collapse with a 59 on debut at No. 8. In the rain-affected Sydney Test, he struck a lively 71-ball 69. During the IPL 2016 player auction, he attracted a big of Rs 4.2 crore from Delhi Daredevils, 14 times his base price of Rs 30 lakh.

Kane-Williamson
Kane Williamson – New Zealand

Kane Williamson (New Zealand): Considered as a Test match and One day specialist by experts, Williamson will be eager to prove himself in this format too. After McCullum’s retirement from International cricket Williamson was handed over the captaincy which is an added responsibility for him. In January 2016, a T20I series against Pakistan he scored a quick-fire 72 and 70.

Joe-Root
Joe Root – England

Joe Root (England): Joe Root has been going through the form of his life in Tests and One Day Internationals. He is not as destructive in T20s as he is in the longer format and ODIs. But playing a series recently in the subcontinent against Pakistan helped him get accustomed with the conditions. But a batsman of Root’s class will definitely be a player to watch out for.

Adam-Zampa
Adam Zampa – Australia

Adam Zampa (Australia): An inexperienced leg-spinner has not got much of exposure playing in the sub continent but his excellent form in the BBL earned him a place in the Australian side. The T20 World Cup will be held in March-April which is considered as a season end and the ball to turn. If Zampa can explore the conditions he will definitely be a hit as the conditions will favour the spinner in the subcontinent.

Mahmuduulah
Mahmuddullah Riyad – Bangladesh

Mahmuddullah Riyad: An allrounder who bowls tidy off spin and bats in the middle order, Mahmudullah has spent the last three years figuring out how fickle form can be. He captained Bangladesh too. He has been carrying on his tremendous form at No.3 since the 2015 World Cup but in the Asia he played a different role of a finisher successfully and its quite obvious he will play the same role in the World T20 too.
