Internet Desk : Former England captain Paul Collingwood has been named captain of the Capricorn Commanders for the forthcoming Masters Champions League .
Collingwood was a regular member of the English Test and one-day sides and captained his country to victory at the T20 World Cup in 2010.
“I am excited to be leading the Commanders in the first ever MCL,” he said. “It’s a privilege to lead such esteemed players who I’ve done battle with over the years but now I can say I’m happy to be playing with on the same side.”
The MCL will take place in Dubai and Sharjah from January 28 to February 13.
