India finished fourth in the Commonwealth Games medal standings with a total of 39 medals, marking another memorable campaign. The contingent produced record-breaking performances in boxing, enjoyed historic success in judo, witnessed unprecedented achievements from its para-athletes, and secured multiple medals in athletics.

The Indian boxers emerged as the biggest stars of the Games. They delivered the country's best-ever boxing campaign, finishing at the top of the boxing medal table with seven gold and three silver medals.

India also created history in judo. The judokas produced their finest-ever performance by winning four medals. The para contingent added another landmark achievement, claiming seven medals during the Games. In athletics, Lovir Singh etched his name into the record books with a historic medal-winning performance.

Although Lisa Das's performance towards the end of the competition brought some disappointment, it could not overshadow India's outstanding overall campaign. The Indian contingent concluded the Commonwealth Games with a historic haul of 39 medals13 gold, 17 silver, and 9 bronze—to finish fourth in the overall standings.
