Xtra Time Web Desk : In the ongoing season, Indian star javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has already won the Diamond League twice. Now, Neeraj has set his sights on the World Championship, which will be held in Budapest on August 19.
Neeraj has made a major decision for this World Championship. He announced that he will not participate in any competition before the World Championship in Budapest. His coach, Dr. Klaus Bartonietz, has also expressed the same opinion.
After winning the Diamond League in Switzerland last Friday, Neeraj said in an interview, “The upcoming competition in Budapest is a very important event for me. I want to analyze and rectify my mistakes during training and become even stronger.”
Previously, Neeraj won the Diamond League in Doha on May 5. However, this Olympic gold medalist athlete remains extremely cautious about participating in international tournaments. So far, Neeraj has only competed in the Doha and Lausanne Diamond League events this season.
