“My relationship with Virat Kohli is between the two of us and not for TRP,” Gambhir said.

Following the T20 World Cup title success, Gambhir was appointed as the successor to Rahul Dravid. He mentioned that his relationship with Kohli is private and not for public entertainment.

Gambhir also noted that he and Kohli have had numerous discussions and emphasized that everyone has the right to fight for their jersey. With the retirement of senior players Rohit Sharma and Kohli from T20 Internationals, Gambhir highlighted the importance of managing the workload of key players like Jasprit Bumrah.

Gambhir stressed the significance of managing Bumrah's workload and expressed his expectation that Sharma and Kohli would be available for most games now that they will focus on only two formats.
