Xtra Time Web Desk: Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is just few wickets away to own couple of records in the upcoming four-match series against South Africa.

Arshdeep having 87 wickets in T20s is so close to break Bhuvneshwar Kumar's all-time record of most wickets taken by an Indian bowler in Men’s T20Is in a calendar year. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picking 37 wickets from 32 matches at an economy rate of 6.98 currently holds the record. Arshdeep is the second in row taking 33 wickets from 21 games at an economy rate of 8.17.  He needs 4 wickets to set a milestone.

Arshdeep can be the leading wicket-taker for India in Men’s T20Is if he takes more than 10 wickets. By picking 13 wickets, Arshdeep can become only the second Indian after Deepti Sharma to take 100 wickets in T20Is.
