Goa all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar bagged his maiden five-wicket haul in Ranji Trophy against Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, November 13 at Goa Cricket Association Academy Ground, Porvorim. Tendulkar's magical spell made Arunachal Pradesh bundling out for 84 runs.

The left-arm pacer took 5 wickets for 25 runs picking Nabam Hachang, Neelam Obi, Jay Bhavsar, Chinmay Patil and Moji Ete. Winning toss, Arunachal Pradesh opted to bat first but the decision completely backfired and credit has to be given to Tendulkar for giving early breakthroughs and also to Mohit Redkar (3/15) and Keith Pinto (2/31) for delivering ample support from the other end.

Tendulkar seems to be in a good rhythm as he started his season with figures of 6/112 vs Sikkim and played a good knock of 42 in the first innings. Although he failed to impress with the bat still he picked up two wickets vs Mizoram. The youngster will be up to showcase his potential with bat as well against Arunachal Pradesh, will he be able?
