The duo also recently revealed that they are expecting their first child in 2025. Their heartwarming announcement, featuring an image of tiny feet and a white heart, was captioned, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.” The news was met with an overwhelming flood of congratulatory messages from fans, friends, and colleagues.

Rahul, who has re-established himself as India’s preferred opener in Test cricket, is currently preparing for the crucial fourth Test against Australia. The Boxing Day Test, part of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, begins on December 26 with the series tied 1-1.
Initially selected in the 18-member squad for a middle-order role, Rahul was pushed to the top of the order in the absence of Rohit Sharma during the series opener in Perth. Partnering with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul played a match-winning knock of 77 in the second innings, forming a 201-run stand that secured India’s victory.
