IPL 2024: KKR claims their third trophy, how will be the celebration this year?

Xtra Time Web Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders are the champions of IPL 2024, defeats Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets. They won their first IPL cup in Chennai, May 27, 2012 against the Chennai Super Kings. KKR claimed their second IPL cup in 2014 on June 1, 2014 again at the Chepauk stadium. Both the victories came under the leadership of Gautam Gambhir. 10 years apart, KKR won the cup of IPL 2024 final at the Chepauk again. And this time under the mentorship of Gautam Gambhir.
Gautam Gambhir achieves his exceptional feat:
The 2007 and 2011 world cup winner Gautam Gambhir becomes the first ever cricket to take a team to IPL final both as a captain and as a mentor. The comeback of Gautam Gambhir has been proven as the lucky charm of KKR.
Shreyas Iyer redeems himself:
Shreyas Iyer becomes the only second captain to win the IPL trophy for KKR. Last few months have been tough for him. He was excluded from the central contract of BCCI. And was not included in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad questions were asked about his form, he has shut all the critics mouth with this win. He had been an exceptional caption in IPL 2024. He has also remained not out in all the matches in which KKR has chased this seasoned. KKR has won the 3 IPL finals while chasing. But the 2021 and 2014 chasing was lot harder than 2024 chase. The maiden IPL trophy saw, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee felicitating the team with traditional shawls and the sweet delicacy sandesh. Each player also received a gold chain inscribed with "Bengal Loves You." Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of KKR and brand ambassador of West Bengal, expressed his gratitude amidst thunderous applause from over 60,000 fans. "We have been waiting for this day so long. Thank you, Didi. Thank you, Kolkata. Thank you, West Bengal, on behalf of every member of the team. Only Kolkata will rule," Khan declared, as confetti rained down. The festivities included KKR players dancing to popular Bengali songs and a victory lap with Shah Rukh Khan carrying the IPL trophy. The event culminated with the team and Banerjee posing with the maiden IPL trophy, marking a historic day for Kolkata and its beloved Knight Riders.
The city of joy will be waiting for the same celebration once the team comes back to Kolkata.
