Xtra Time Web Desk: A certain section of fans have shared their concern over KL Rahul's form and angry reactions have been circulating on social media as he failed to score in the First Match against New Zealand in Bangaluru. Many have suggested to drop him from playing XI.

Even being the local boy, Rahul had a not upto the mark outing in this match. In first innings, he just failed to register a single run and in second also he managed to score just 12. Fans have higher expectations from him as when he came out to bat, India was in a decent position with Pant batting aggressively having 408 runs on scoreboard.

After a decent start by Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant, he was expected to bat for a longer period and add some more runs on the board but he caught out and this is where India started losing its share on the match again. Back to back wickets did not allow India to score big.

Many social media users asked to drop Rahul as Sarfaraz has scored 150 very fluently and let Rahul prove himself for selection. Although he has extraordinary skills still his approach is a concern.
