Xtra Time Web Desk: Bangladesh has made one change to their Test squad for the upcoming tour of India, following their historic 2-0 series win in Pakistan. Uncapped batter Jaker Ali has been called up to replace fast bowler Shoriful Islam, who is sidelined with a groin injury sustained during the first Test against Pakistan.

In Shoriful's absence, Bangladesh's pace attack will be led by Taskin Ahmed, alongside Nahid Rana, Hasan Mahmud, and Khaled Ahmed. Jaker Ali, yet to make his Test and ODI debut, has played 17 T20Is since his debut at the 2023 Asian Games. The 26-year-old has an impressive first-class record, averaging 41.47 with four centuries in 49 matches.
