BGT 2024-25: Fans cross all limits to see Virat Kohli's practice session in Perth
Xtra Time Web Desk: As India gears up for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia, all eyes are on Virat Kohli, who has garnered immense fan attention ahead of the first Test starting November 22. Kohli arrived in Perth earlier this week and began training at the iconic WACA ground, where his presence sparked considerable excitement among local and traveling fans.
During India’s first full practice session on Wednesday, 13th Nov, fans reportedly scaled trees and even brought ladders in a bid to catch a glimpse of the star batter. According to The West Australian, Kohli looked comfortable facing Australia’s fast bowlers and played some impressive shots, later shifting his focus to spin. The high level of interest highlights Kohli’s popularity in Australia, where he has historically performed well.
