Taking to social media, Rohit posted an adorable message: "Family, the one where we are four." He also revealed the birth date of the baby as November 15, 2024. Fans and well-wishers have poured in their congratulations for the cricket star and his family.
Back in 2018, Rohit had become a father for the first time during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, when Samaira was born. Amidst the developments in his personal life, it remains to be seen if Rohit makes himself available for the opening Test against Australia, starting November 22 at the Perth Stadium.

With Rohit Sharma welcoming his newborn, questions about his availability for the upcoming Perth Test have intensified. Jasprit Bumrah, who was vice-captain during the Test series against New Zealand that India lost 0-3, is being considered a strong candidate to lead the team in Rohit's absence.
Indian head coach Gautam Gambhir recently stated that there’s no confirmation yet on Rohit’s participation in the first Test. Meanwhile, legendary cricketer Sunil Gavaskar suggested that Rohit should relinquish captaincy for the entire series if he is unable to play the opener.

However, former Australian skipper Aaron Finch defended Rohit, emphasizing the importance of personal milestones.
