"It was definitely one of the most challenging parts. But I made sure that with all the doctors, I could be fully fit. I always wanted to keep in Test matches," said Pant.
Acknowledging the unique challenges of keeping in Tests, Pant added: "The ball travels much more; it does a bit off the wicket, but that is part and parcel of the game."
Pumped up for Gabba return
The Gabba holds a special place in Pant’s career, as he scripted a historic win for India at this venue during the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar series. Reflecting on his return to the iconic ground, Pant shared his excitement and confidence.

Mantra for tough situations
Renowned as India’s crisis man, Pant shared his approach to handling pressure moments. He credits a positive mindset and focus on playing the situation as key to his success.
"Playing the situation has been a big learning and bailing out the team from a hard situation. Most of the time, I have to be telling myself to keep things positive in the mindset. There are easy ways to do it, but that’s where I put my foot down and keep doing the same thing that has given me success," Pant explained.
With the series tied, Pant will once again be a pivotal figure as India faces Australia at the Gabba, a venue that has witnessed some of his finest moments.
