Bengal on fire! Historic 390-run chase in women's one-day cricket leaves Haryana stunned
Xtra Time Web Desk: Bengal etched their name in history on Monday, December 23, by pulling off the highest successful run chase in Women’s One-Day Cricket. In a thrilling Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy 2024 clash at the Niranjan Shah Stadium Ground C in Rajkot, Bengal overhauled a mammoth 390-run target against Haryana with five balls to spare.
This remarkable feat shattered the previous record set by Northern Districts, who chased 309 against Canterbury in New Zealand’s domestic competition back in 2019. In international cricket, Sri Lanka holds the record for the highest chase, having chased 305 against South Africa earlier this year at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom.
