Internet Desk: Another exciting season on cards as the La Liga fixtures for the forthcoming season is now officially out.
Real Madrid and Barcelona will face off on December 20 in a festive first El Clasico of the new season after the 2017-18 La Liga fixtures were announced.
Spanish football fans will pencil in the date at the Bernabeu as the first opportunity of the new campaign to see Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in action.
The date of the first El Clasico could prove problematic for Madrid however, as it comes just four days after they are set to play in the Club World Cup final in Abu Dhabi on December 16.
Barcelona are beginning life under new manager Ernesto Valverde after the former Blaugrana player was appointed to replace Luis Enrique.
Real and Barcelona are set to meet at least five times between now and the end of the season. The pair face off in Florida for a pre-season International Champions Cup clash on July 29 before a two-legged Spanish Super Cup tie in August.
