Xtra Time Web Desk: Jonny Bairstow brilliance on the field brought Punjab Kings back into the match against Lucknow Super Giants at Maharashtra Cricket Association stadium on Friday night. Lucknow were cruising at 104/2 in the 13th over with Deepak Hooda batting confidently on 34. He pulled a short ball from Arshdeep Singh and rushed for a quick single. Jonny Bairstow too ran in to the ball and, and got a direct hit, Hooda fell short of the crease while taking the second.
Hooda’s run out saw a mini collapse as LSG soon were reduced to 111/6. They lost 4 wickets in a span of 13 runs.
