Jasprit Bumrah feels proud to be a part of this Indian cricket team

XtraTime Web Desk: After registering a thumping 318-run win over West Indies in the first test, India’s ace pacer Jasprit Bumrah expressed his happiness be a part of this Indian team which registered it’s biggest overseas Test win by runs.

On Twitter, Bumrah posted two pictures and wrote “Biggest test victory overseas, so proud to be a part of this side” as the caption.

Bumrah scalped five wickets in the second innings, helping India bundle out Windies for just 100 runs. His incredible match-winning spell read 5/7 in eight overs with four maidens.

In the first innings, Bumrah had become the fastest Indian pacer to take 50 Test wickets, going past Venkatesh Prasad and Mohammed Shami.

Bumrah achieved the feat in his 11th match, whereas both Shami and Prasad had reached the milestone in 13 Tests.

On day four of the Test, India resumed their innings at 185/3 and went on to add 158 more runs to their tally to take the total to 343 runs for a lead of 418.

The Windies batsmen failed to miserably in their second innings and the hosts were bowled out inside 27 overs.
The visitors will take on the Windies in the second Test beginning August 30 in Kingston, Jamaica.
