ISL: ATK’s Prabir Das in dilemma after offers from Bengaluru FC and FC Goa

XtraTime Web Desk: Where will ATK’s Prabir Das play next season. Easily the most consistent Bengali footballer in the Indian Super League (ISL) last season has quite a few offers. But the footballer himself is willing to wait a few more days before taking a final call.

The Indian national team footballer has offers from at least four to five clubs. Apart from the two big clubs of Kolkata, the 26 year old right back also had offers from Bengaluru FC, FC Goa and Hyderabad FC. But he is yet to decide which club he would settle for. The footballer from Sodepur is in two minds whether to stay in Kolkata or ply his trade at some other clubs. The offer from Bengaluru FC and FC Goa is quite good. But he is not willing to leave his home city. This is the reason Prabir is delaying his decision.

Prabir got an offer from East Bengal after winning the ISL for ATK last season. But he is yet to hear from the Red and Gold officials. The newly formed ATK Mohun Bagan management is confident that Prabir will stay on with the club for another season in ISL. The love he received from ATK and Mohun Bagan fans over the years is also a reason that Prabir does not want to leave Kolkata. This could also be the reason that the footballer is taking time to decide whether he will try his luck in clubs like Bengaluru FC and FC Goa.
It will be interesting to see which club Prabir decides to play in the ISL next season.

Whether it will be the love and affection of ATK Mohun Bagan supporters or the lucrative offer from Bengaluru and Goa, the fans will get to know in the coming days.
