Kolkata: One of the biggest football extravaganzas, ISL season 4 saw the draft being held at Mumbai on July 23. A total of 205 players were enlisted in the draft and among them 134 of the players had been bought by the 10 franchisees. We take a look at the players who crossed the crore-mark in the upcoming cash-rich league.

Sunil Chhetri, one of the prolific strikers of India at the national level had a few brilliant seasons with Bengaluru FC for the past 3-4 years. Previously he used to play for Mumbai City FC but this season he has been retained by the Blues for a whooping price of 1crore 40 lakhs.

“I have been with Bengaluru FC from the very beginning. Though I had offers from other franchisees I had no intention of leaving the Blues” said Sunil to www.xtratime.in when he visited Kolkata last week to attend a program.

Jeje Lalpekhlua another striker who is deadly in front of the goal was retained by Chennaiyin FC for an eye-staring price of 1crore 20 lakhs. The Mizo player who played for Kolkata giants Mohun Bagan in the I-League in the previous season will be ready to compete in list for the highest goal scorers.

Sandesh Jhingan, the rock in defense became the highest paid defender of the country when he was retained by Kerala Blasters FC for a sum of 1crore 30 lakhs. The defender played for Bengaluru FC in the previous season of the I-League

Eugeneson Lyngdoh, the central midfielder from Bengaluru FC went up to the ISL draft and has been bought by recent and two times ISL champions ATK for a jaw dropping price of 1crore 10 lakhs.

Anas Edathodika, who the title of the best defender of the I-League in his previous season at Mohun Bagan was bought by newly formed ISL franchisee team Jamshedpur FC for a huge price of 1 crore 10 lakhs.
