Internet Desk: Out of favour Indian batsman Suresh Raina was recently seen training under former coach Gary Kirsten, in a bid to make a comeback into the Indian team. Raina, who is now holidaying in The Netherlands was seen training with the South African U’17 cricketers of Gary Kirsten academy in Capetown. The left hander spent three days with Gary Kirsten, seeking his tips in order to shrug aside his off form in recent times.
Raina was an integral part of Gary Kirsten coached Indian team which went on to win the 2011 World Cup. The meeting though was pre-planned as Gary Kirsten was in The Netherlands with the U’17 team. Raina, we all know is now in Holland to be with his wife Priyanka who is settled in that country. Raina posted quite a few pictures & video of him training with the U17 boys and also with Gary.

He tweeted,”It’s so nice to be practicing with this super talented man!There is always so much to learn from you @Gary_Kirsten,” tweeted Raina. Raina also met the young cricketers of The Netherlands. “It was wonderful meeting up with the whole group and to be able to share experiences.”
