Is AB de Villiers returning to RCB next season? Virat Kohli drops a hint | Watch Video

Xtra Time Web Desk: Is former South African batter and Mr 360, AB de Villiers returning Royal Challengers Bangalore next season? Virat Kohli in a recent interview on RCB’s Bold Diaries, hinted that his former teammate may return to the franchise in a different role next season.

Speaking to ‘Mr Nags’, a character portrayed by content creator Danish Sait for the franchise, Kohli revealed he misses de Villiers and also dropped a hint on a possible return for de Villiers to RCB.

Kohli in the fun filled interview with Nags said he still misses AB a lot. He speaks to the former Proteas batter regularly. AB too keeps sending Kohli messages.

AB is currently in the US with his family watching the Augusta Masters gold tournament.

“I miss him a lot. I speak to him regularly, quite regularly. He keeps messaging me,” Kohli said in the video.

“He was in the US recently watching golf. Augusta Masters is what I heard it was called. So he told me he was there experiencing it with his friends and family,” he said.

“So we stay in touch and he’s very keenly watching RCB and hopefully here next year in some capacity,” Kohli said, with a wry smile.

Both Kohli and AB shared a great friendship and bond in RCB. The former South African batter joined RCB in 2011 and represented the franchise for next 11 seasons. He helped RCB reach the final in 2011 and 2016, although the team ended up losing it.
