Xtra Time Web Desk: Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan joined his side’s post match celebrations at the dressing room, after the two time champions won their Indian Premier League 2024 season opener against Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 23 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Shah Rukh praised the boysโ performance and congratulated them for opening their points account on a winning note. In the upbeat dressing room atmosphere, KKR’s assistant coach Abhishek Nayar shared insights and praised the players. Sunil Narine, Phil Salt, Andre Russell and Harshit Rana earned praise for their brilliance against SRH.

In a recent video uploaded by KKR’s official social media handles, Shah Rukh Khan was looking thrilled and absolutely proud as he watched Abhishek Nayar deliver a rousing dressing room speech.
Shah Rukh said, โAll the best, congratulations, be healthy and keep playing as well as you do. Thank you Chandu sir (Chandrakant Pandit), Abhishek, Venky sir and especially Gauti (Gautam Gambhir) for being back. God bless you all.โ
Abhishek Nayar had high praise for debutant Ramandeep Singh for his crucial cameo in the match, also praised the brilliant man-of-the-match winning performance shown by Andre Russell along with Rinku Singh during his speech.

Nayar added, โIt’s been a while, but I remember the same place a couple of years ago. The big man walking in, Bhuvi (Bhuveneshwar Kumar) bowling and doing something miraculous and once again, Dre Russ (Andre Russell) and Rinku Singh was outstanding.โ
Kolkata registered a 4 runs win over SRH in their season opener at the Eden Gardens, will next meet Royal Challengers Bangaluru on 29 March at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
