Xtra Time Web Desk: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the list of the players who will go under the hammer in the IPL 2024 auction which will be held at the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai on December 19, 2023.The diverse pool comprises 214 Indian players and 119 overseas cricketers, including two from associate nations.
A total of 77 slots are up for grabs, with a significant allocation of 30 slots reserved for overseas players. The highest reserve price of INR 2 crore has attracted attention, with 23 players opting for placement in this premium bracket. Additionally, 13 players have set their base price at INR 1.5 crore, adding further intrigue to the bidding process.
The auction is scheduled to kick off at 1 PM local time in Dubai, corresponding to 2:30 PM Indian Standard Time. As cricket enthusiasts eagerly await the outcome, the auction promises to be a riveting event, shaping the teams for the upcoming IPL season and setting the stage for intense on-field battles in 2024.
