Xtra Time Web Desk: Rinku Singh has become a star overnight after his incredible five consecutive sixes in the final over against Gujarat Titans. KKR’s new batting sensation was seen practicing reverse sweep against Sunil Narine at Eden Gardens. He was also enjoying hitting sixes during the training session at Eden Gardens on Wednesday night. He did miss-hit a few but most of his shots landed outside the boundary ropes.
Rinku was seen knocking for almost half an hour before entering the main nets where he faced the likes of Umesh Yadav, Lockie Ferguson, Vaibhav Arora and other KKR bowlers. The 25-year-old cricketer from UP was seen having a long chat with KKR Head Coach Chandrakant Pandit.
Later after the training session Rinku was seen involved in some lighter moments with teammates Nitish Rana, Venkatesh Iyer and Rahul Tripathi from Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The biggest challenge for Rinku will be to handle the pressure of expectation after hiting five consecutive sixes.
