Xtra Time Web Desk: Former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh feels Kolkata Knight Riders’ batting sensation Rinku Singh is not too far away from an India call up. Rinku has been a revelation for KKR this season and has been their saviour in some of the matches. The cricketer from Aligarh made headlines when he dispatched Yash Dayal for five consecutive sixes in the match against GT in Ahmedabad to script one of the memorable run chases in the history of the IPL.
Speaking ahead of the KKR’s game against Rajasthan Royals on host broadcaster, Harbhajan, claimed that the 25-year-old isn’t far away from getting an Indian team call-up.
Harbhajan said that Rinku is an inspirational player and worked hard to get to where he is now. The former off spinner claimed that Rinku’s journey is a life lesson and youngsters should learn from him.
“That India cap is not far away from Rinku’s head. He’s such an inspirational player. He’s run all the hard yards and worked very hard to get to where he is today. Full credit to him for having that belief in himself. His journey is a life lesson and all young kids should learn from him,” said Harbhajan.
