IPL 2022 Points Table: RCB jumps to fourth spot; Sunrisers stay on 6th

Xtra Time Web Desk: It is the business end of IPL 2022 and the race for the third and fourth play off spots is getting trickier. Royal Challengers Bangalore have climbed to the fourth spot in the points table courtesy their win over Sunrisers Hyderabad by 67 runs on Sunday. While Sunrisers stay at the 6th spot after losing their third consecutive match in the ongoing cash rich league.

After Match No 53, IPL newbies Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans maintain the top two spots with 16 points from 11 games. Rajasthan Royals are in the third spot with 14 points from same number of games. RCB are also on 14 points but Faf du Plessis and his team have played a game more.

On the other hand, Chennai Super Kings in the second match of the day have defeated Delhi Capitals by a margin of 91 runs to climb up to the 8th spot with 8 points from 11 games. Delhi on the other hand remains at 5th with 10 points in 11 games.
