Xtra Time Web Desk: Fans have watched him hitting big sixes during the Indian Premier League last season in UAE. But very few knew that Sunrisers Hyderabad’s cricketer Abdul Samad is a damn good singer. The franchise on Saturday posted a video of the cricketer from Kashmir crooning some Kishore Kumar numbers and another one from Atif Aslam on their social media handle twitter. He was seen singing to the tune of ‘Mere Mehboob Qayamat Hogi’, ‘Yeh Shaam Mastani’ and another song by Atif Aslam in a clip shared by the Orange army on Twitter.

Samad impressed everyone with his big hitting in the IPL last season. He was also very effective with his bowling. Now the fans will get to know this hidden talent of Abdul Samad.

As per BCCI’s SOPs for IPL 2021, all players (except for those from the India-England series), support staff, and management entering the bubble need to undergo a seven-day quarantine in their hotel rooms. Every individual will be tested multiple times during this period, and upon returning the negative results, they will be allowed to come out of their rooms and commence outdoor training and practice sessions.

Earlier today, skipper David Warner had asked for tips to pass the quarantine period. He had joined the team hotel along with New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson.

The side led by David Warner will kick start their IPL 2021 campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on April 11 in Chennai.
