Xtratime Web Desk :- On Wednesday at Wankhede stadium, Mumbai fans witnessed a high scoring thriller between Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings vs Kolkata knight Riders lead by Eoin Morgan. More than 400 runs were scored on Wednesday.
Kolkata Knight Riders started off poorly in their pursuit off 221 runs to win versus Chennai. They had a horrible powerplay where they lost 5 of their top order batsmen. Gill,Rana,Rahul,Morgan,Narine well fell cheaply. Once KKR was 31 for 5. Russell along with Karthik started the fightback. Later on Cummins joined the party . He took KKR close to the target before falling short by just 18 runs.
After the match KKR owner Shahrukh Khan had taken to Twitter. He tweeted “Coulda…woulda…shoulda can take a backseat tonight…@KKRiders
