IPL 2021 Phase 2: MS Dhoni’s CSK begins training at ICC academy in Dubai

Xtra Time Web Desk: MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings began their training session ahead of the remaining matches of IPL 2021in UAE on Thursday. The players and support staffs finished their mandatory six days quarantine on arrival. Mostly the Indian players of CSK are at the moment in Dubai.

Captain MS Dhoni looked in jovial mood at the training session. The franchise shared a few pictures of their first training session in the ICC academy.

The players were in a huddle ahead of the training session. Apart from Dhoni, players like Suresh Raina, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Ambati Rayudu, Deepak Chahar, Robin Uthappa and Karn Sharma are right now attending the camp in Dubai.

Chennai Super Kings were one of the first two teams along with Mumbai Indians to reach the gulf country. They reached UAE on August 13 and straightaway went into quarantine in their hotel at The Palm in Dubai.

The Super Kings will restart their campaign in IPL 2021 with a clash against defending champions Mumbai Indians on September 19.
