IPL 2021: Kohli reaches Mumbai,starts his work towards fighting Covid

Board of Control for Cricket in India has postponed 14th season of Indian Premier League (IPL2021, Indian T-20 League) keeping in mind the covid scare that gripped the whole nation and breached the bio-bubble put in place. As the Indian Premier League came to a halt many Indian players are returning to their respective homes from inside the bubble. Indian national team captain Virat Kohli has also reached home. He has flown from his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore bio-bubble directly to his home in Mumbai.

Virat was seen outside his Mumbai apartment, where he reached from Ahmedabad a day after the BCCI confirmed about the indefinite postponement of IPL . He was spotted using all the necessary and advised protective Covid-19 gears. Incidentally Bangalore was the first team to express unwillingness to play after two players from the Kolkata Knight Riders for the 30th league fixture tested positive.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli is now expected to focus on contributing to India’s Covid-19 fight as announced by his wife Anushka Sharma on Sunday on her social media platforms. India’s next assignment is the World Test Championship final to be played from 18-22 June against New Zealand in Southampton. As soon as Virat reached home he soon became active in fight against covid.
