Xtra Time Web Desk: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s Wriddhiman Saha has revealed the secret behind his free flowing knock (87 off 45) against Delhi Capitals during Match 47 in IPL 2020 on Tuesday. Saha made full use of the opportunity, playing his first game of the season as he replaced experienced Johny Bairstow. Opening the batting with Warner, the two put on 107 runs for the first wicket, paving the way for a huge total of 219/2.

Later during an interaction with teammate Rashid Khan for iplt20.com after the match, Saha said, “The first match I played, I had thought of how would I approach the game but in this match, I didn’t think much just asked David (Warner) how to approach and he said ‘play feely’ and I too like playing freely. Then we took chances in the first six overs and then we carried the momentum.”

He added, “When David got out, I took over the charge and hammered the loose balls and converted them into boundaries.”

Tuesday’s win took Sunrisers Hyderabad to 6th spot in points table with two more matches remaining against Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore.
