You’re always challenging yourself to be the best you can be and international cricket always finds a way to motivate you. So yeah, I’m really glad to be playing on this stage because it’s just an excellent motivator and just keeps you ticking. So yeah, I think for me to be the best thing I can be. That’s what I’m motivated by.”

When asked about his preference, Rabada said, “Whenever I bowl, I try to make an impact. I see how can I try and get wickets. Do the job in different parts of the game. I am new ball bowler, that’s what I’ve been used to during my whole career. Also I have to bowl at the death as well. So, whatever comes my way, I know I have to bowl upfront and I’ve bowl at the middle and at the death as well. So, just about covering my bases and seeing where the captain needs me the most. It’s nice to start off but now it’s kind of taking it as it comes.”
