IPL 2020: BCCI secretary Jay Shah happy with Sharjah Stadium’s arrangements

XtraTime Web Desk: The secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Jay Shah paid a visit to Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Friday. Shah expressed his satisfaction with the venue’s preparations for the upcoming IPL 2020 which is set to begin from Saturday.

He was accompanied on his tour at the iconic stadium by Waleed Bukhatir, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Cricket Stadium and Khalaf Bukhatir, Managing Director of Bukhatir Group and CEO of Sharjah Cricket Stadium.

The first match of the upcoming IPL 2020 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will be played between Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings on September 22. The stadium will also be hosting some classic IPL rivalries this season including Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Kolkata Knight Riders on October 12 and Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians on October 23.
