IPL 2019: RCB fielders should keep in mind that ‘Catches win matches’. Find out why?

XtraTime Web Desk: There is an old word in cricket that ‘Catches win matches’. Maybe Royal Challengers Bangalore fielders have forgotten the word. Virat Kohli led RCB again lost today against Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets and it’s their sixth consecutive losses in IPL.  If you see at the stats RCB has played 6 matches so far in this tournament and in these matches they got chances to catch the balls 31 times so far but due to poor fielding they dropped 15 catches which is almost the 50% of the chances.

Against Delhi Capitals today RCB’s wicketkeeper batsman Parthiv Patel dropped two catches and one of that was of Delhi skipper Shreyas Iyer’s. At that moment Shreyas was on just four runs at that time and it was the first over of the game and Shikhar Dhawan was just got out on a golden duck. After getting the life again Shreyas scored 67 runs in just 50 deliveries to take the game away from the hosts.

At this level of cricket dropping these amount of catches are almost the same as crime. Though RCB still has a chance to make it to the play-offs mathematically but with this poor fielding efforts the chances look very gloomy.
